A line stop is the installation of a temporary isolation point or point(s) similar to the function of a valve in a line where one presently does not exist or operate. It is utilized to temporarily stop flow in a section of the pipe so as to allow for alteration and additional work to be carried out at the downstream of the pipeline, without stopping or purging the system.
When an effective shutdown cannot be achieved in your system line stopping technology is the most efficient and safest method utilized to restore control. In most situations, it's also the most economical!
